    The Green River Track and Field team traveled to Casper this past Thursday to compete at the Kelly Walsh Invitational with teams from Cody, Little Snake River, Southeast High, Laramie, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Glenrock, Natrona and the host Kelly Walsh.     The Green River Lady Wolves Softball team hosted the Rock Springs Lady Tigers in their final home games of the season on April 15. They played two back-to-back games, and in the first game Rock Springs got out to an early lead in the top of the first inning, scoring three runs.     Green River High School’s Track and Field teams changed schedules last week, in part due to weather. The Wolves participated this past Thursday in the Nancy Steinberg Invitational at Outlaw Stadium in Rawlins. They competed against eight other local teams including Rock Springs, Pinedale, Big Piney, Encampment, Saratoga, HEM, Little Snake River and the host Rawlins.     The Boys and Girls Wolves Soccer teams were scheduled to play Jackson on Friday, April 18. The games were canceled due to the winter storm that hit on Thursday. Both games were rescheduled for Tuesday, April 22 so they will be covered in sports next week. Both teams are traveling to Evanston today for games.
