This past Wednesday, the Green River High School Boys and Girls Outdoor Track and Field team hosted six teams from Southwest Wyoming which included Rock Springs, Riverton, Farson/Eden, Rawlins, Pinedale and Evanston.
The Lady Wolves finished third in the seven-team field, just three and a half points out of second place, while the boys also took third overall.
The first couple of hours of the meet had exceptional spring weather, but later the winds became strong. However, the temperatures were still comfortable for the all-day event, which started at 9 a.m. and ended around 4 p.m.
