    The Green River Shopko Hometown Store will be closing. Shopko announced more store closures Wednesday and the Green River location was one of the stores named. The estimated closing date given by the company is May 12, 2019. Other Wyoming locations that are closing are Lander, Mountain View, Thermopolis, Greybull and Worland.     In a highly competitive swim meet, the Wolves swimming and diving team came home with a fifth-place finish.     Before the Federal government shutdown stopped, residents were asked to help TSA employees at the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport to make ends meet until the shutdown was over. The seven TSA employees at the airport had been working since Dec. 22 without being paid, this means they have missed two paychecks, airport director Devon Brubaker.     A grant matched by Sweetwater County will continue to be used to fund two full-time Sweetwater County Emergency Management Agency positions. During the Sweetwater County Commissioners meeting Tuesday morning, the Commissioners unanimously approved a fiscal year 2018 Emergency Management Performance Grant agreement from the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security.     The Lady Wolves basketball team won on their own court against Jackson Saturday, but they lost on the road to Evanston. Both the Evanston and Jackson games were conference games, taking the Lady Wolves to 1-1 in the conference and 7-6 overall.     A power outage shut down Green River High School Friday and students were released early. Around 7:40 a.m., shortly after school started, the power went out. GRHS principal Darren Howard said the main breaker at the high school went bad. He said the main breaker was the original breaker put in when the high school was built in 1997.     A 21-year-old man was charged with a felony after he allegedly punched a 15-year-old boy in the face. Chance D. Wood, of Green River, was arraigned in the Third District Court of Judge Nena James for felony child abuse.
