    Therapeutic riding students had the chance to show what they learned during a riding showcase Thursday. The program called One Stride Closer, a Sweetwater County Board of Cooperative Educational Services equine-assisted therapy program, hosted it's fourth annual riders' showcase. Kathy Stanton, a Green River Science, Technology, Engineering and Math teacher, recently attended the Honeywell Educators at Space Academy, which took place in Huntsville, Ala., at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.     A local trona company's donation will help seniors in an emergency situation. Recently, Tata Chemicals Partners teamed up with Golden Hour Senior Center to provide 175 qualified seniors with supplies in case of emergency. The bags will provide the senior with a sense of safety and security should an emergency situation arise. The bag includes a five-day supply of food, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and water.     An award-winning local author is now being recognized for her volunteer work with Wyoming Writers, Inc. Alethea Williams of Green River was presented with the Emmie Mygatt Award at the 44th Wyoming Writer Conference. She was honored for the work she did while on the Wyoming Writers Board.
