    Several groups joined forces to build bunk beds for children who don't have any to sleep on. On Saturday, Rocky Mountain Power volunteers worked with United Way of Southwest Wyoming to complete a Helping Hands Day project for the Rock Springs Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.     The Southwestern Wyoming Central Labor Council wants to help alleviate hunger in Sweetwater County. The council will sponsor a food drive in conjunction with its annual Labor Day picnic. The picnic will take place on Labor Day, Sept. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crossroads West Park. Food and beverages are provided and, as always, the picnic is free.     The Green River Community Choir started Tuesday, but it’s not too late to join.     While all of the artists were inside the Expedition Island Pavilion sculpting clay statutes or painting, one was outside in the hot sun to finish his paining. Green River resident J.T.
