    Sweetwater County officially received its first Gateway West Impact payment Tuesday. During the Sweetwater County Commissioners meeting Tuesday morning, the Commissioners heard an update from Sweetwater County Treasurer Robb Slaughter about the impact funding the county is receiving. Slaughter said the county received its first payment of $254,155.56 Tuesday and is supposed to receive this same amount each month for the next 15 months from the Industrial Siting Council.     Thanks to a local group, many organizations received monetary donations. The St. John’s Episcopal Thrift Shop committee recently met to determine which organizations would receive money the shop raised by selling clothing and other items.     After 10 years of swimming for Green River, Michael Richmond will move onto the collegiate level. On Friday, Richmond, who was surrounded by a table filled with medals and plaques he earned over the years, signed a letter of intent to swim during his time at Midland University, which is a four-year college in Nebraska.     A Green River High School sophomore is trying to raise money to pay for a service dog to help her manage her Type 1 diabetes. "I was diagnosed Oct. 5, 2017, with Type 1 diabetes," Mya Tollefson said. "My pancreas was attacked by my body and not working, so I have to take insulin."
