    The Sweetwater County Concert Association will kick off its 75th year concert season with Six Appeal. During the 2014-15 season, the concert association has four concerts slated. The first concert will showcase an award-winning male a cappella vocal band, Six Appeal. They began as a collegiate hobby in 2006 at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.     The Green River High School swim team is beginning to peak at the right time of the season. The Lady Wolves had an impressive performance at last week’s 4A West Regional meet in Evanston, nearly walking away with a first-place finish. Green River finished in second place with 304 points, just 22 points behind first-place Kelly Walsh. Rock Springs finished in third with 246 points.     A Green River High School coach was recognized by her peers following a strong performance at regionals. Longtime Lady Wolves swim coach Colleen Seiloff was voted as the 4A West Coach of the Year Following Green River’s second place finish. “It was exciting to receive the honor, but this is easily shared with the girls and other coaches,” Seiloff said. After a 46-14 loss last week at Cody eliminated them from the Class 3A playoffs, Green River (0-7, 0-4 3A West) will be looking for their first win of season with kickoff at 6 p.m. in the friendly confines of Wolves Stadium.     Friday night is senior night for the Green River High School volleyball team. Kasey Turnbull, Sarah Herd, Shannon Hlad, and Jenny Dunham will all be playing their last regular season home game Oct. 24 against Riverton.     The Green River High School cross country team got their first taste of postseason action last Thursday at the 4A West Regional Meet in Casper. The Wolves are now prepping for Saturday’s state championship in Sheridan. Head coach Steve Boyd said the team is ready to go to state and does not want to the kids to put a lot of pressure on themselves. “We’re going to go have fun and run within ourselves,” he said.
