Senior night for volleyball

Friday night is senior night for the Green River High School volleyball team.

Kasey Turnbull, Sarah Herd, Shannon Hlad, and Jenny Dunham will all be playing their last regular season home game Oct. 24 against Riverton.

The varsity game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

Green River will be looking for their second conference win of the season. The Lady Wolves are currently 8-17 and 1-8 in the 4A West.

Their score last night at Evanston was not available at press time.

Last week, Green River had the tough task of playing against top ranked Natrona on the road. The Lady Wolves lost in three close sets, 28-26, 25-15 and 25-23. The following day, the Lady Wolves lost to Kelly Walsh 25-10, 25-17, and 25-18.

The freshman and sophomore games against Riverton. will take place at 3 p.m., the junior varsity will play at 4 p.m.

Next week, Green River will get one more chance to play on their home floor at the 4A West Regional Tournament.
