Green River Wrestlers "attack points" in Lander

This past Friday and Saturday, the Green River Boys and Girls Wrestling teams competed in a large in-state wrestling tournament, the Lander Valley Invite at Lander High School. The girls finished 11th out of 23 teams, while the Varsity boys were second in their 27-team field. Also the Junior Varsity competed in a J.V. Tourney in Lander.

Head Wrestling Coach Josh Wisnewski felt that the team wrestled well at Lander. He commented that they are focusing on getting better every week and that he is happy about how the team attacked points in matches at the tourney. The team will be traveling up to...
