Nathan Stevenson powers ahead of Grant and Grady Bartlett of Saratoga at the Green River Invite during the 1,600-meter run. Stevenson was the Wolves' top finisher in the 1,600 meters at the Alpha Invitational in Utah last weekend.
The Green River High School track team traveled south this past Thursday and Friday to compete with 30 other high schools in Orem, Utah. With as many as 150 competitors in some events, the huge two-day Utah Regional Track Meet was the stage where many Green River competitors showed improvements in times and distances from the previous week.
The teams were also split up for this meet as the mostly younger track competitors stayed home for a junior varsity meet in Lyman Thursday.
