Green River splits with Casper teams


The Green River High School boy’s soccer team showed tremendous resolve last Saturday with a 3-2 home win over Kelly Walsh.

The 4A West Conference victory came one day after a tough 2-1 loss to Natrona. The Friday loss against the Mustangs was the first game without five players who were suspended last week for 21 days for unspecified reasons.

In the game against Kelly Walsh, it took Green River only about 10 seconds to score when senior Chase Erickson connected with freshman Christian Alatorre for the first goal of the game.
