Despite tough field, cross country team posts solid second week

 


Last Saturday was a great opportunity for the Green River High School cross country team.

Not only did the team face a challenging course at the Cardinal Classic in Soda Springs, Idaho, they also faced some top teams from around the Mountain West.

The Green River boy’s team finished 14th out of 24 teams. In total their were a 162 runners in the varsity race.

It was was once again a tight grouping of five varsity five runners with Austin Waters leading the way with a 71st place finish and a time of 18:54.07.

He was followed less a second later by Braden Reichl with a time of 18:54.52. Sh...
