Ryan Flaten, 28, is in the Sweetater County Detention Center following his arrest. The Green River has slowly backed up over the last week as ice has hindered the river's flow. Water from the river has risen and froze portions of Riverside Park, as well as submerging sections of the Greenbelt. Jacob Anglesey, once a highly regarded officer with the Green River Police Department, will go to prison. The Green River Chamber of Commerce had a major change-up in its staff late last week. According to a press release, Irene Parsons, who had worked as CEO of the camber since August, was no longer working at the Chamber as of Dec. 21. Lisa Herrera will be taking over Parsons’ duties during the interim. Parsons, who formerly worked for Sen.
