The Green River High School boy’s soccer team showed tremendous resolve last Saturday with a 3-2 home win over Kelly Walsh. The 4A West Conference victory came one day after a tough 2-1 loss to Natrona. The Friday loss against the Mustangs was the first game without five players who were suspended last week for 21 days for unspecified reasons. The Green River High School cheerleading team is hosting a tryout meeting May 5. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the school commons. All eighth through 11th grade girls and boys interested in trying out for the varsity team should attend the meeting with a parent. The tryouts will take place May 11-14 in the high school auxiliary gym.
