Cheerleading tryouts slated for next week

The Green River High School cheerleading team is hosting a tryout meeting May 5. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the school commons.

All eighth through 11th grade girls and boys interested in trying out for the varsity team should attend the meeting with a parent.

The tryouts will take place May 11-14 in the high school auxiliary gym. They will take place form 4-6:30 p.m.

HONORED

The cheer team was recently honored in a letter from U.S. Senator Mike Enzi who told the squad they should be very proud of their state championship.

“You represent your school well, and the results you achieved will be felt for a long time,” Enzi wrote.
