    Since November of 2010, children ages birth to five years old had the chance to register for and receive free books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program, however, due to lack of funding the program may be cut back.     Friday, students at the Green River Co-op Preschool were busy making special crafts for Mother's Day. After listening to a story, the students broke out into groups. Some groups were coloring, some were drawing pictures; while another group was working with Debbie Varley on Mother's Day finger print flowers.     A Green River woman who is accused of collecting about $23,000 through alleged welfare fraud pleaded not guilty to a felony charge. Maria Magana appeared in the Third District Court of Judge Nena James at an arraignment to a felony charge of public welfare benefits fraud. If found guilty of this charge, Magana could face a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and maximum fine of $10,000.     An interest in outdoor activities led Braxton Davis to join the Cub Scouts. The 10th-grade student has been a member of Boy Scout Troop 19 for the past four years.     A Green River man who admitted to injuring his fiancee with a baby gate was placed on probation. Brian A. Setzer appeared in the Third District Court of Judge Richard Lavery at a change of plea and sentencing hearing to aggravated assault and battery.     A Green River businessman accused of theft and trying to obtain property by false pretenses pleaded not guilty to the two felony charges. On Monday Jeffrey T. Wharton appeared in the Third District Court of Judge Nena James at an arraignment to felony charges of theft and obtaining property by false pretenses.     Burger A Go Go. The mere mention of the business' name will cause a few residents to start drooling. The business was known around the town for its maxi burger, also known as the hubcap. Stephen Barrera, son of Faye Bussart who owned Burger A Go Go, said his mother special ordered the buns for the maxi burger from a bakery in Colorado.
