FGD funding concerns

Concerns over the transparency of the Flaming Gorge Days budget were voiced by several Green River City Council members at Tuesday night's meeting, although the council still passed an action item authorizing funds to cover ongoing expenses.

During the May 6 council meeting, questions were raised about where a proposed $20,000 reimbursable expenditure payment was going. The added action item to the agenda was a preauthorization of $20,000 to cover ongoing expenses for the upcoming Flaming Gorge Days event.
