Wolves win Regional Championship in Riverton

This past week the Green River Wolves Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestling teams competed in Riverton at the 3A Regional Championships. The Boys competed with eight other teams from the west including Pinedale, Cody, Powell, Evanston, Riverton, Lyman, Lander and Mountain View.

The boys came away the Regional Champions with six individual champions. They defeated second-place Pinedale, finishing 246 to 209, with Pinedale having three individual champions. The boys qualified a total of 20 wrestlers for the State Tournament this week.
