Brief: Parks and Recreation hires new Recreation Program Supervisor

Green River Parks and Recreation recently announced that Raime Drake has joined the department as the new Recreation Program Supervisor.

"Raime will be a valuable asset to the team," the department said. "We are thrilled to have a fresh perspective for our programs and the City."

"I am thrilled to work within the Parks and Recreation department," Drake said. "I have a deep connection to recreation programs like GRASP and Summer Day Camp, having been involved in them throughout high school and college. The experiences I've had working with youth in various recreational and educational summer camps, and as a science outreach educator have been incredibly rewarding. As a result, I'm excited to grow, both personally and professionally, in this new role with the City of Green River and with the outstanding Parks and Recreation team I've come to know and appreciate."

The Parks and Recreation Department encouraged everyone to welcome Drake to the city.
