Golden Hour Senior Center May Schedule

GHSC will host a bus trip to Historic Rawlins Friday, May 19. The bus will leave GHSC at 8:30 a.m. There will be a visit to the Carbon County Museum at 10:30 a.m. A lunch of chicken fried steak will be at the Carbon County Senior Center at 12:15 p.m. A walking tour of Historic Rawlins, covering about one mile on sidewalks, will be at 1 p.m. The bus will depart for home at 2 p.m. and arrive at GHSC at 4 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a $5 suggested donation for lunch and comfortable walking shoes. Snacks and museum admission will be provided. Participants must register and fill out an AGNES form for the Rawlins SC and a waiver form.

Mondays: Line Dancing, Pinochle, Bride, Bingo

Tuesdays: Bingocize, Bridge, Bunco 

Wednesdays: Sewing/Crafting, Pinochle Class, Chair Volleyball, Bingo, Yoga

Thursdays: Bingocize, Pinochle, Poker, Bridge, Zumba Gold

Fridays: Chair Volleyball, “31,” Mah Jongg, Bridge

Lunch:

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a salad bar served daily.

For those who are 60 and over, a $4 contribution is suggested for meals. For those under 60, a $7 contribution is suggested, which includes tax. For curbside meals, a $5 contribution is suggested for those 60 and over, and a $8 contribution for those under 60.

GHSC would like to remind everyone that curbside orders are due by 10:30 a.m. each day. To-go meals cannot be packed during the dine-in time. All home delivered meals and cancellations are due by 8:30 a.m.

Golden Hour Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

GHSC will be closed May 29 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
