Madelene Pacheco

Madelene Pacheco, 73, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at her home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a long-time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming and former resident of Dragerton, Utah.

Mrs. Pacheco was born November 24, 1948 in Dragerton, Utah, the daughter of Bill Celes Vallez and Maxine Reta Greigo.

She attended schools in Dragerton, Utah and Rock Springs, Wyoming and obtained her General Education Degree.

Mrs. Pacheco married Louis Pacheco January 21, 1965 in Manila, Utah.

She worked for GNC for 15 years as a Store Manager. Madelene also worked for O.J.s Ten to Ten grocery store for many years as a clerk until the store closed in 2014.

Mrs. Pacheco enjoyed fishing at Louie Lake; garage sales; gambling and making friends everywhere she went.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Pacheco of Rock Springs, Wyoming, one son, Ted Pacheco of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one son-in-law, Scott Thomas of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two daughters, Diane Pacheco of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Sandra Pacheco of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister, Shirley Gardea and husband Jesse of Fruita, Colorado; three brothers, Herman Mascareanos of Riverton, Utah; Leonard Vallez of Fruita, Colorado; Steve Vallez of Fruita, Colorado; four grandchildren, Josh Pacheco; Miranda Pacheco; Cheyenne Horvoth and husband David; Dakota Powell; two great-grandchildren, Louie Pacheco; Alex Pacheco; several cousins; nieces; nephews and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Celes Vallez and Maxine Reta Vallez; one son, Terry Lee Pacheco; two brothers, Gary Vallez; Fred Vallez; one grandson; Aden Beverage.

Cremation has taken place; a Graveside Service and Inurnment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
