The season is beginning to close for Green River High School’s grapplers.
With Friday’s trip to Lander for the 3A Regional Wresting Tournament, the wrestling team will only have next week’s State tournament in Casper. The regional event itself represents a hurdle for the Wolves to overcome as qualification at the event is the only way to punch a ticket for next week’s tournament.
When head coach Josh Wisniewski looks at his boys, he sees a scrappy team ready to take on the rest of the state.
“We’re ready to go,” he said. “The guys are focused and ready to put on a good regional tournament.”
