Diver sets record during swim team's busy week

The Green River High School boys swim team stayed busy last week with three meets in Lander and at home, but the highlight was when one of the team’s divers set a new record.

Braxton Cordova broke the school record and pool record during the home meet at GRHS last Thursday with a score of 455.55.

“It was a 30-year-old record,” Coach Colleen Seiloff said, explaining the previous diving record was set in 1992.

The home meet was a good one for the whole team, coming in second place with 244 points and having team members take first place in four events.
