The Green River High School golf team started their season in Star Valley two weeks ago, playing in two competitions.
The team earned a fifth-place finish, scoring 379 during their first day in Star Valley. The Wolves placed higher than Pinedale, which scored 384 and Lyman's 400. Jackson placed first with 315, Evanston took second with 339 and Star Valley placed third with 346. The team took sixth the following day with a score of 381, beating Lyman's score of 396. The top three teams were Jackson with 315, Evanston with 324 and Star Valley with 326.
