Pancake supper set Tuesday

St. John’s Episcopal Church will host its annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Mansface Church.

The church supper has taken place almost every year since 1947 and features sausage, ham, coffee, orange juice and all-you-can-eat pancakes served by church members and volunteers. Residents are invited to the dinner and donations are accepted, which will fund church programs.

The church will also host an arts and collectables silent auction, featuring items found at St. John’s Thrift Store.

Bids will be accepted until 6:45 p.m.

Formed in 1891, St. John’s Episcopal Church is one of Green River’s oldest churches.

Services are held weekly at 11 a.m.
