Kids learn the game at football clinic

The future stars of Wolves Stadium got a chance to learn from their high-school heroes this week during a football clinic hosted by the Green River High School football team.

The clinic took place Monday through Wednesday and featured courses aimed at both elementary-aged children and middle-school students. Students worked on all facets of the game, running through several drills while listening to advice given by both head football coach Marty Wrage and members of the Wolves football team and coaching staff.

The event functions as both a fundraiser for the high school football program and a means of growing future talent for both the high school and middle-school football teams.
