U18 softball brings home state

Green River Chaos took the state championship in Casper last weekend.

They played six games in a bracket style tournament winning four of the six to become the reigning champions. The last game pitted them against local rivals the Rock Springs Storm winning with a final score of 11-6.

The team has been playing together since April said coach Tami Kelley. She was very proud of the team and even commended them for playing the Cheyenne team that placed 6th in nationals. They just had a really great season.

The team consisted of 15 players ranging in ages from 14 to 19 made up of recreational team...
