Donald Sheets passed away March 7, 2019.
He was born on Dec. 21, 1953, at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., to William and Carlene Sheets. He moved all over the country while his dad was in the Navy.
He married Sherri Lee Glover Jan. 5, 1973, in Carson City, Nev., with a permission slip in hand from his mom. They made their home in Green River for 33 years where they raised their children, Kristi and Rodger. While they lived in Green River, Don was very active in the baseball community.
