Clora Arguello

Clora Arguello, 93, of Rock Springs, passed away Oct., 26, 2016, at the Mission at Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River. A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Green River Arguello died following a sudden illness. 

She was born on May 21, 1923, in Llano Alargo, N.M. the daughter of Antonio Domingo Muniz and Francisquita Martinez. 

She married Clarence "Shakey" Arguello in Penasco, N.M. on April 20, 1946, and he passed away in Big Piney Oct. 20, 1997. 

Her interests was her family first and foremost and praising the Lord. Her church activities were teaching Sunday school, she was a member of Senior Angels at Word Alive Ministries in Thorton, Colo., she was a secretary at House of Prayer in Green River, a member of Life Christian Center and First Assembly of God. She helped to start that church and walked with her children to church even in winter snow storms.  

She is survived by two sons, Jerol Arguello and wife Gloria of Thornton, Colo., and Clarence "Junior" Arguello and wife Deborah of Green River; two daughters, Patsy Gibb and husband Wright of Westminster, Colo., and Pearl Moon and husband Bryan of Rock Springs; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters Linda Toni Romero and Rose Marie Arguello Trujillo, fifteen brothers and sisters. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God in Green River. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Green River. Friends may call at the church Thursday, from 4-6 p.m. and again at the church on Friday morning one hour prior to services.
