It was a great day for the Green River High School track team.
The Wolves ended last Saturday's 2015 Rock Springs Meet of Hope with an impressive eight first place finishers.
"I thought both teams performed well Saturday. It was nice to see a number of kids have success and feel good about themselves," head coach Steve Boyd said.
Leading the way for Green River was junior Tyler Vendetti who had a stellar day finishing first in the long jump, triple jump, and 300-meter hurdles.
Senior Dylan Rust also had a solid performance with first place finishes in the discus and shot put.
