At halftime of their season opener against Evanston, Green River High School girl’s soccer coach Tracy Wyant and her staff talked to the team about how they needed to talk to each other more and have better ball movement.
The team listened. After scoring one goal in the first half, Green River answered back with four second half goals on their way to a 5-0 victory.
“They went out in the second half and applied everything we talked about and it was night and day between the halves. “They started playing soccer the way they’re supposed to,” Wyant said.
