Green River has high expectations for 2015

Over the past several seasons, the Green River High School boy's soccer team has established itself as one of the best programs in Wyoming.

Coming off a season in which they won the 4A West Regional Tournament and finished third at state, the Wolves have set some lofty goals for the 2015 season.

"Conference champions, back-to-back regional championships and a state championship are our team goals for the season," head coach Chris Bieber said.

While the team is returning several key members from the 2014 team, Bieber feels that team unity will be better for the Wolves than experience.

"Although experience will definitely help put us to the next level," he said.

Local fans will get plenty of chances to see the Wolves in action in their quest for a state title.

Highlights of the 2015 season, include the Green River Soccer Invite that will take place April 17 and 18 at Wolves Stadium, games against the two Casper schools April 24 and 25, and a matchup April 9 against rival Rock Springs.
