It was a great weekend for Green River wrestling.
Nine Green River High School wrestlers and about a dozen Green River Grapplers combined as a team to compete at the Rocky Mountain Wrestling Tournament in Denver.
The team finished an amazing fifth out of 100 teams at the tournament.
“It was an exciting weekend watching the younger kids compete alongside the high school wrestlers, both groups supported the other, the future looks bright and there is a lot of talent in this town,” Green River High School head coach Marshall Rhodes said.
