Wolves track strong at state indoor meet

It was a great 2015 season for the Green River High School indoor track team.

Head coach Steve Boyd said four members of the team tied or broke indoor school records during the season.

He said junior Josie Givens improved her school records in the 400, 800, and 1600-meter runs; Holly Huber bettered her school records in the 55 and 60-meter hurdles; Tyler Vendetti broke the record in the triple jump this season and freshman Andri Dewey tied the school record last weekend in the 55-meter dash and she broke the record in the 200 meters.

All in all, it was a fun season and we are looking forward to outdoor,” he said. “Indoor has prepared a lot of kids for the outdoor season as they will be ready to roll in to the season in good shape.”
