Lady Wolves prep for Cheyenne road trip


The Green River High School girl’s basketball team will face a tough test this week with three games against 4A North teams.

The Lady Wolves will be traveling to compete at the Cheyenne Invite with their first game Thursday against the number one team in the state, Sheridan. The Lady Wolves will take on Cheyenne South (2-4) Friday and Cheyenne Central (6-1) Saturday.

Green River will enter the contest against the Lady Broncs (4-1) with a 2-3 record. In their last contest Jan. 2, the Lady Wolves lost 35-18 to Star Valley.

The road contest was the first game for interim coach Rick Carroll....
