    Residents dismayed about the sudden loss of trees throughout Green River can take solace in replanting efforts recently conducted near the east entrance to the city. Friday, volunteers and city employees planted a number of trees in the field near the Uinta Dirve overpass. Trees in that area, as well as other parts of the city, died last year after the city mistakenly applied an herbicidal chemical to the trees. Construction is projected to span through the summer months and into the fall of 2016 and may lead into spring of 2017.
