Green River Police Department reports for Sept. 16

At 9:58 a.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 3:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a dog at large that was acting aggressively towards pedestrians in the area. Officers located the dog and were able to contact the owner to secure the dog. The owner, Susan Crofutt, was issued citations for alleged vicious animal and animal at large - second offense and officers completed a report of the incident.

At 5:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of assault.

Sept. 17

At 1:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 3:10 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Medhie Jones, a citation for alleged speeding in school zone.

At 5:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud.

At 9:12 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

Sept. 18

At 12 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 3:15 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Richard Mendoza, citations for alleged DWUS and a tail lights required violation.

At 7:37 a.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 7:46 a.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 1:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a scam.

At 1:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 4:07 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Tevan Dehaan, a citation for an alleged valid certificate of title, certificate of registration, and license plates required violation. Officers also issued a warning for alleged windshield - obstructed view.

At 9:56 p.m., officers responded to a report of found property in the area of Astle Avenue and Uinta Drive. Officers met with the reporting party who advised they had found a firearm in the middle of the street. Officers collected the firearm for safekeeping and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 19

At 8:32 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 11:16 a.m., officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle.

Sept. 20

At 9:27 a.m., officers responded to Probation and Parole for a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Dustin Punches under arrest per the warrant, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle.

Sept. 21

At 10:42 a.m., officers responded to a report of barking dogs. Officers located the owner of the dogs, Joseph Hamel, issued him a citation for alleged nuisance animal, and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 4:04 p.m., officers responded to a report of drugs.

Sept. 22

At 4:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of a found person.

Sept. 23

At 2:39 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.
