Virginia Christenson

Virginia Christenson passed away peacefully in her home in Grand Junction, Colorado on April 26. She was 90 years old.

Virginia was born in 1934 in Wichita, Kansas. She worked for a telephone company for many years and also in the gift shop at the Little America truck stop outside of Green River. She spent many years of her life living in Jamestown.

She loved dobermans and always took her dog everywhere with her. She loved Bingo and liked to travel to gamble as well.

She is survived by her two sons Eugene (Karen) and Wayne (Jolene); eight grandchildren, Melissa Cook (Paul), Sandra Snell (Brian), Andrew (Jessica), Curtis (Samantha), Colton (Calisha), Rory Duncan (Rusty), Derrick, Nathan, and Samantha Dolly (Dakota); 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; as well as her dog, Merla.
