Green River Police Department reports for Dec. 12

At 4:07 a.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance where an individual was attempting to enter a residence illegally. Officers observed a vehicle matching the description and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Wilderness Trail after observing a tail light violation. The vehicle stopped and the passenger of the vehicle fled the traffic stop on foot and was not located. The driver then fled and was later arrested by officers after a foot chase ensued. Officers placed Dalton Kunz, of Green River, under arrest and issued citations for alleged failure to display valid plates/ registration, interference with a peace officer, and flee or attempt to elude police officers. Officers transported Kunz to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 7:14 a.m., officers responded to the Public Works Building at 325 E Teton Boulevard concerning a vehicle that was on fire. The Green River Fire Department extinguished the fire, and no injuries were reported. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:39 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of the GRHS for a report of a hit-and-run collision. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to their vehicle. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:39 a.m., officers responded to a report of a juvenile in possession of vaping devices. Officers subsequently issued a juvenile, of Green River, a citation for alleged unlawful use or possession of tobacco product by a minor - 2nd offense. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

Dec. 13

At 8:04 a.m. officers issued a citation to Cynthia A. Grandpre, of Green River, for allegedly meeting or passing a school bus.

At 10:34 a.m. officers issued a citation to Thomas Hansen, of Green River, for allegedly speeding.

Dec. 14

At 12:07 p.m., officers issued a citation for alleged inattentive driving with a crash.

At 2:51 p.m. officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the warrant, and placed Carrisa Eaton, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Eaton to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the warrant, and placed Matthew Payne, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Payne to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

Dec. 16

At 11:47 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of the U.S. Post Office at 350 Uinta Drive concerning a subject in a vehicle that was falling asleep at the wheel and seemed out of it. Officers made contact with the driver Bryce Archibald, of Green River, who was subsequently placed under arrest for alleged unlawful possession - schedule I or II > 3 ounces. Officers transported Archibald to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 8:13 p.m., officers issued a citation to Brandan Phillips for an alleged valid certificate of title or registration violation and a warning for an alleged headlights violation.

At 11:52 p.m., officers issued a warning for an alleged headlights violation.

Dec. 17

At 1:18 a.m., officers issued a citation for an alleged instruction permit, restricted license violation.

At 2:49 a.m., officers issued citations to Amanda Dunn for an alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense and traffic control signals/red right turn violation.

At 10:08 p.m., officers issued a warning for alleged speeding.
