Green River Police Department reports for Nov. 20
At 6:14 a.m., officers responded to E Railroad Street for a report of a larceny. Officers met with an individual who reported their wallet was taken while they were at the Town Bar & Grill, and a transaction had occurred on their debit card. The wallet was later returned to the establishment but cash was reported to be missing from the wallet. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.
At 9:41 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on N 4 W Street and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speeding.
At 10:45 a.m., officers responded to New Hampshire Street for a report of a parking problem. Officers observed a trailer that needed to be moved. Officers contacted the owner, advised of the violation, and completed an incident report.
At 12:50 p.m., officers responded to Easy Street for a report of a parking problem. Officers observed a boat trailer with expired registration. Officers posted a notice and completed an incident report.
At 1:47 p.m., officers responded to E 3 S Street for a report of a parking problem. Officers observed a trailer that appeared to have been parked on the roadway for an extended period of time. Officers posted a notice and completed an incident report.
At 2:09 p.m., officers observed what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle at the corner of S 4 E Street and E 3 S Street. Officers posted a notice and completed an incident report.
At 2:14 p.m., officers responded to the Police Department lobby in reference to threats/ harassment. Officers met with an individual who reported threats that were made by an individual. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.
At 2:45 p.m., officers responded to the Police Department lobby in reference to theft. Officers met with an individual who reported monetary losses from fraudulent charges after being scammed. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.
At 6:18 p.m., officers responded to Colorado Drive for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with an individual who reported a driver who was speeding up and down the road with loud music playing, and yelling at them. Officers met with the driver, gathered information, issued a citation for alleged no valid driver’s license, and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 21
At 5:36 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver Austin Chapel, of Utah, citations for alleged speeding and a stop sign violation.
At 11:27 a.m., officers responded to GRHS for a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported one vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle while parking the vehicle in the parking lot. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 9:49 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on E 2 S Street and issued the driver, a juvenile, of Green River, a citation for alleged speed.
At 10:07 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Windriver Drive. Officers met with the individual causing the disturbance and subsequently placed Brandon Cox, of Green River, under arrest and issued a citation for alleged disturbing the peace. Officers transported Cox to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 6:47 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Upland Way and issued a warning for alleged speed.
At 10:01 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Washakie Avenue. The driver was found to have two active warrants. Officers confirmed the warrants and placed Dustee Collar, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Collar to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:01 a.m., officers responded to W Flaming Gorge Way for a report of a collision involving a vehicle and two dogs. It was reported two dogs ran into the roadway and one of them went under the vehicle. The dog was transported to the vet by the owner. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 4:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals who were involved in an altercation and gathered information. The parties were separated and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 6:45 p.m., officers responded to Greasewood Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with a staff member who reported property damage. Officers met with the individual, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:46 p.m., officers responded to Driftwood Street for a report of a suspicious circumstance. Officers met with an individual who reported an individual being on their property, who then got into a vehicle and drove away. Officers patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 10:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision. It was reported the vehicle was pulling into a spot and struck a sign. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unattended death. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 10:31 a.m., officers responded to E Teton Boulevard at California Drive for a report of a single-vehicle collision. Officers observed the vehicle to be up on the curb of the sidewalk of the northern part of California Street. It was reported the driver lost control of the vehicle and slid into the curb. Officers issued the driver, a juvenile, of Green River, a citation for alleged speeding too fast for conditions.
At 12:32 p.m., officers responded to Sundance Drive for a report of a barking dog complaint. Officers attempted to contact the owner, posted a notice, and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:10 p.m., officers responded to Honor Way for a report of a hit and run. Officers observed damage to a fence and a utility box. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver. Officers issued the driver Gabriel Martin, of Green River, a citation for an alleged hit and run and completed an incident report.
At 4:39 p.m., officers responded to Indian Hills Drive for a report of a civil standby and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 25
At 12:24 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver, a juvenile, from Green River, a citation for alleged no valid driver’s license.
At 10:13 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver, Thomas Cipolla, of Colorado, a citation for alleged speed.
At 4:55 p.m., officers responded to n 3 E Street for a parking complaint. Officers observed a vehicle, attempted to contact an owner, posted a notice, and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:46 p.m., officers responded to Tennessee Drive for a report of shots fired. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to a Christmas yard decoration by a possible airsoft gun. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle or any other damaged Christmas decorations. Officers completed an incident report.
At 9:28 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver, Jody Young, of Green River, a citation for alleged no valid driver’s license.
Nov. 26
At 9:53 a.m., officers responded to Uinta Drive for a report of littering. Officers met with an individual who witnessed an individual dump garbage bags in the alleyway. Officers met with the owner of the establishment who wanted to file a complaint about someone using their dumpster. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 10:54 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with an individual who reported a domestic assault. EMS arrived and transported the individual. Officers met with the other involved party and gathered information. Subsequently, Billy Shields, of Green River, was placed under arrest for alleged strangulation of a household member, aggravated assault and battery, and interference with a peace officer. Officers transported Shields to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
