Cross Country competes in Rock Springs

The Green River High School Cross Country team wrapped up their regular season meets close to home during the Rock Springs "Tough Pumpkin" XC Meet at the White Mountain Golf Course last Friday.

The girls team raced first, and the Lady Wolves were off to a strong start, with Isabelle Murdock maintaining the lead throughout most of the course, and her sister Madison Murdock close behind. As the runners approached the finish line, however, some of the runners from Evanston began to push ahead for the lead. Madison picked up speed and crossed the finish line in second place, just 1.70 seconds...
