Sept. 5

At 8:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with individuals who were involved in a verbal dispute. The parties separated and officers completed an incident report.

At 11:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of civil issues. Officers met with individuals who were involved in a verbal dispute, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 6

At 7:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance. Officers met with an individual who reported that they heard strange sounds coming from an adjacent residence. Officers made contact with several residences in the area and everyone was okay. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 9:42 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vape detection at Lincoln Middle School. Officers met with the student suspected of using the vaping device and gathered information. Subsequently, officers issued a citation for the alleged use or possession of a tobacco product by a minor to a juvenile, age 13, of Green River. Officers notified a parent/guardian and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:48 a.m., officers responded to the Bus Barn located at 140 Monroe Avenue for a report of a bus light violation. It was reported a vehicle passed a bus while the stop arm was activated at GRHS. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 10:03 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vape detection at Lincoln Middle School. Officers met with the student suspected of using the vaping device and gathered information. Subsequently, officers issued a citation for the alleged use or possession of a tobacco product by a minor to a juvenile, age 13, of Green River. Officers notified a parent/guardian and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:04 a.m., officers responded to a report of a vape detection at Lincoln Middle School. Officers met with the student suspected of using the vaping device and gathered information. Subsequently, officers issued a citation for the alleged use or possession of a tobacco product by a minor to a juvenile, age 13, of Green River. Officers notified a parent/guardian and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:06 a.m., CSOs responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the area of Bridger Drive. Officers tagged the vehicle and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:10 a.m., officers responded to the GRPD lobby to collect prescription medications from the medication drop-off box. Officers collected 8.35 lbs of medications that were booked in for future destruction and completed an incident report.

At 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers were advised that the subject left the area in a vehicle. Officers met with the individuals at the residence and took their statements. Officers later located the subject, completed a civil standby, and completed an incident report.

At 11:53 a.m., officers responded to the area of Cumorah Way for a report of trespassing. Officers met with the owner of the property who requested to have two individuals issued trespass warnings. Officers were able to make contact with one of the individuals and issue the trespass warning. Officers gathered information and compelled an incident report.

At 1:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of illegal dumping at Green Island Gym at 410 Uinta Drive. It was reported that an adjacent business has been using their dumpster. Officers made contact at the establishment, advised of the complaint, and completed an incident report.

At 2:07 p.m., CSOs responded to the area of W 3 N Street for a property in violation of the City ordinance 17-1(a). Officers attempted to make contact with an owner and completed an incident report.

At 2:16 p.m., CSOs responded to the area of W 3 N Street for a property in violation of the City ordinance 17-1(a). Officers made contact with an owner, issued a notice to abate, and completed an incident report.

At 3:42 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Shoshone Avenue and issued the driver a verbal warning for alleged speeding.

At 6:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers met with individuals involved in a dispute who agreed to stay at the residence with no further incident. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 7

At 6:48 a.m., officers responded to the area of Evans Street for a report of an individual in the street causing a disturbance. Officers met with the individual and attempted to gather information. The subject was uncooperative and eventually went inside a residence. Officers completed a report of the incident.

At 8:37 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Astle Avenue and issued the driver a verbal warning for alleged lane usage and speed violations.

At 10:40 a.m., officers responded to the area of Windriver Drive for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with several individuals in reference to an altercation. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 11:20 a.m., officers responded to the area of S 7 W Street for a report of nuisance property. Officers contacted the owner, issued a verbal notice to abate, and completed an incident report.

At 1:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats. Officers met with an individual who reported being confronted by an individual while at work. Officers met with the subject, gathered information, and completed an incident report.

At 2:22 p.m., officers responded to the area of N 5 W Street for a report of nuisance property. Officers contacted the owner, issued a verbal notice to abate, and completed an incident report.

At 3:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats. Officers met with an intoxicated subject who confronted another individual about using their phone. The subject requested EMS assistance and wanted to surrender their animals to animal control. EMS and animal control responded. ACOs took possession of the animals and transported them to the shelter. EMS transported the subject and officers completed a report of the incident.

At 7:12 p.m., officers responded to Smiths at 905 Bridger Drive for a report of an individual causing a disturbance. Officers met with the subject and gathered information. The subject was asked to leave and officers completed an incident report.

At 8:39 p.m., officers responded to the area of Upland Way in reference to a noise disturbance. Officers contacted the property owner, advised of the complaint, and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of an agency assist for an individual that had fallen. EMS responded and transported the individual. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 8

At 9:49 a.m., officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile. Officers attempted to locate the juvenile but were later notified the juvenile had been found and was okay. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 1:07 p.m., officers responded to a property in violation of the City ordinance 17-1(a); Weeds, posted a notice at the residence, and completed an incident report.

At 1:27 p.m., officers responded to the area of Railroad Avenue for a report of nuisance vehicles. Officers contacted the owner, advised of the violation of the City ordinance 17-4(b), and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:23 p.m., officers responded to GRHS at 1615 Hitching Post Drive for a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported both vehicles were traveling east in the exit lane of the parking lot with the first vehicle behind the second vehicle. The first vehicle struck the rear of the second vehicle. Officers gathered information, issued the driver of the first vehicle, a juvenile, age 17, of Green River, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with a crash, and completed an incident report.

At 4:59 p.m., officers responded to the area of W Flaming Gorge Way for a report of a dog at large. Officers issued the owner, Anahad Bohren, of Green River, a citation for alleged animal at large.

At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for a report of suspected gunshots. Officers met with an individual who reported hearing gunfire. Officers checked the area but did not find any damage at the Wastewater Treatment Plant or evidence of gunfire. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 9:49 p.m., officers responded to the area of E Railroad Avenue for a report of a violation of a protection order. Officers met with an individual who reported the violation. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 9

At 10:28 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the warrant, and placed Jerry Medina, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Medina to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 6:05 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Uinta Drive on a vehicle for a tail light violation. Officers met with the driver and found the driver to have a suspended driver’s license. Officers issued the driver, Michael Pacheco, citations for alleged driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked, and tail lights. Officers transported Michael to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 6:24 p.m., officers responded to Verizon Wireless at 300 Uinta Drive in reference to a report of an individual inside the business who was causing property damage. Dispatch later reported the individual had left the store and went to Taco Time at 375 Uinta Drive where more property damage was caused. Officers contacted the subject inside of Taco Time who was uncooperative and throwing items. Officers attempted to calm the subject and prevent further damage. Officers deployed a department-issued taser and subdued the subject. EMS responded and the subject was transported. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 10

At 7:33 a.m., officers responded to the area of the Western Inn parking lot at 890 W Flaming Gorge Way for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with an individual who reported that two individuals were involved in a dispute and one individual had a firearm in their possession. Officers met with several individuals,  gathered information, and determined no threats were made. All parties were separated and officers completed a report of the incident.

At 9:09 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E 2 S Street and issued the driver, Mckayla Anita, of Green River, a citation for an alleged obedience to traffic-control device violation.

At 1:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. Officers met with an individual who reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown caller. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 11

At 3:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of an unattended death. Officers assisted EMS personnel and the Coroner, gathered information, and completed an incident report. No suspicious circumstances are suspected.

At 3:20 p.m., officers responded to the GRHS parking lot for a report of a two-vehicle collision. Officers issued the driver, a juvenile, age 17, of Green River, citations for alleged vehicle registration violation - expired or improper and driver’s license required violation.

At 4:54 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Knotty Pine Street and issued the driver a verbal warning for an alleged registration violation.

At 7:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision. It was reported the vehicle was traveling east on E Teton Boulevard when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the entrance gate to the horse corrals on the north side of the roadway. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 7:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported both vehicles were traveling west on E Teton Boulevard when one vehicle slowed due to a crash on the side of the roadway and a second vehicle struck the rear of the first vehicle. Officers issued the driver of the second vehicle, Michael Wright, of Green River, a citation for alleged following too closely. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 12

At 9:52 p.m., officers responded to the GRHS for a report of larceny. Officers met with individuals who reported that their football cleats were missing. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 8:56 p.m., officers responded to Smiths located at 905 Bridger Drive for a report of larceny. Officers met with the manager who reported that an individual did not scan items that they left the store with. Officers contacted the suspect and advised of the complaint. Officers accompanied the subject back to Smiths to pay for the items that were taken, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 13

At 9:30 a.m., CSOs responded to Clearview Drive for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Officers observed the vehicle having expired registration and attempted to contact the owner. Officers met with an individual who advised they would get the car moved. Officers issued a notice to abate and completed an incident report. 

At 10:22 a.m., CSOs responded to Grand View Drive for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Officers observed the vehicle having expired registration and attempted to contact the owner. Officers posted a notice to abate and completed an incident report.

At 12:17 p.m., officers responded to Spring View Drive for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Officers observed that the vehicle had an expired registration and contacted the owner. Officers issued a notice to abate and completed an incident report. 

At 2:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism at a residence on Jensen Street. Officers met with the property owner who reported damage to a retaining wall. Officers met with the subjects responsible for the damage who agreed to fix the wall. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 8:32 p.m., officers responded to the area of FMC Park on Scotts Bottom Road in reference to a report of two underage individuals who were suspected of drinking alcohol. The individuals were found in possession of alcohol and they were underage. Officers issued citations to Gary Hodges, age 20, and Dayne Swett, age 18, both of Green River, for alleged underage possession/alcohol. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 14

At 9:11 a.m., CSOs responded to the area of Cliffview Drive for a report of a parking violation. Officers contacted an individual regarding the vehicle in violation, issued a notice to abate, and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:35 a.m., officers responded to a report of a student in possession of a tobacco device. Officers met with the administration and several students. Officers gathered information and subsequently issued a juvenile, age 15, of Green River, a citation for alleged use or possession of tobacco by a minor. Officers notified a parent/guardian and completed a report of the incident.

At 12:17 p.m., CSOs observed nuisance weeds in excess of 12” at a property on Church View Drive and made contact with the owner. Officers issued a notice to abate and completed a report of the incident.

At 2:10 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Uinta Drive and issued the driver a verbal warning for an alleged traffic light and insurance violation.

At 2:35 p.m., CSOs observed nuisance weeds in excess of 12” at a property on N 6 W Street and made contact with the owner. Officers issued a notice to abate and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with active warrants. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the warrants, and placed Robert Brewer, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Brewer to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 5:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to Probation and Patrol at 140 Commerce Drive for a report of an individual with an active arrest and hold order. Officers met with agents and the individual, confirmed the arrest order, and placed Anthony Norton, of Green River, under arrest. Officers transported Norton to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 9:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.

Sept. 15

At 7:54 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speed.

At 10:24 a.m., officers responded to the area of Wagonwheel Drive for a report of property damage. Officers met with an individual who reported a damaged flower pot. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:32 a.m., CSOs responded to the area of Monroe Avenue for a report of nuisance property. Officers met with an individual who reported trash from a neighboring property was blowing into their yard and other items of concern. Officers met with the property owner, advised of the complaint, issued a notice to abate, and completed an incident report.

At 1:32 p.m., officers responded to GRHS for a report of a bus light violation. Officers met with the driver and issued a written warning for alleged meeting or passing a stopped school bus.

At 2:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E 2 S Street and issued the driver a verbal warning for alleged improper registration.

At 4:57 p.m., ACOs responded to the area of Indian Hills for a report of an individual bitten by a dog that was at large. Officers located the dog and met with the owner. Officers verified a current Rabies vaccination and gathered information. Report to follow.

At 8:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Andrews Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with individuals who reported concerns involving subjects with a baseball bat. Officers gathered information, attempted to locate the subjects, and completed an incident report.

Sept. 16

At 10:24 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mckinley Street and issued the driver written warnings for alleged stop sign violation and no valid driver’s license, MC endorsement, instruction/intermediate permits, expired driver’s license, work permit.

At 1:06 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Schultz Street and issued the driver, Kayla Jo Wood, of Green River, a citation for alleged failure to maintain liability coverage.

At 2:46 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E Flaming Gorge Way and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speed.

At 4:17 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Uinta Drive and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speed.

At 4:30 p.m., officers responded to Subway at 220 Uinta Drive for a report of an individual causing a disturbance inside the restaurant. Officers met with the manager who reported that an individual entered the store and began throwing items. Officers met with the individual and their caretaker, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:37 p.m., officers responded to the area of W 2 N Street for a report of a deer that had been shot and killed. Officers located an arrow with a broadhead and a deceased deer. Officers met with the suspected individual, gathered information, and issued Andrew Boldt, of Green River, a citation for alleged hunting - within the city limits. Officers notified Game & Fish and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:07 p.m., officers responded to the area of Wyoming Drive for a report of someone banging on a door. Officers met with the resident who reported subjects that were banging and hitting their door. Officers attempted to locate the subjects, gathered information, and completed an incident report.

Sept. 17

At 10:39 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hitching Post Drive and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speed.

At 2:37 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Scotts Bottom Road and issued the driver a written warning for alleged speed.

At 3:11 p.m., officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive for a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. Officers met with the driver and detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Officers gathered information and subsequently placed the driver, Joel Martinez, of Rawlins, under arrest and issued citations for alleged DWUI of alcohol .08 or greater. Officers transported Martinez to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed an incident report.

At 8:43 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with individuals involved in an altercation. The parties separated for the evening. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

Sept. 18

At 1:22 p.m., officers responded to Maverik located at 59 Uinta Drive for a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported that one vehicle, which was towing a trailer, was pulling away from the fuel pump when the rear passenger side of the trailer struck the rear passenger side of another vehicle. Officers issued Lance Roth, of Nevada, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with a crash and completed a report of the incident.

At 6:02 p.m., officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue and Hitching Post Drive for a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported one vehicle was traveling North approaching the intersection of Hitching Post Drive and Monroe Avenue. The first vehicle stopped at the stop sign and pulled forward to conduct a left-hand turn onto Monroe Avenue. The second vehicle was traveling west on Monroe Avenue and initiated a left-hand turn onto Hitching Post Drive. The first vehicle struck the second vehicle on the driver’s side rear fender. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Ashley Barton, of Green River, a citation for alleged yield right of way at the intersection violation. The driver of the second vehicle, a juvenile, age 15, of Green River, was issued a citation for alleged no valid driver’s license and/or violation of driving conditions. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Logan Street for a report of a suspicious person. Officers met with an individual who reported multiple camera alerts for a person in their yard. After gathering information it was determined it was a family member of the neighbor that was leaving the house without permission. A report of the incident was completed.

At 8:55 p.m., officers responded to the area of Greasewood Street for a report of a missing person. Officers met with a staff member who reported an individual who had left and had not returned. Officers located the individual and escorted the individual back to the residence. Officers gathered information and completed a report.
