Lady Wolves compete in Cheyenne Invitational

The Green River Lady Wolves traveled to Cheyenne to play in the Cheyenne Invitational tournament last Friday and Saturday. The girls had a great start, winning two games during the first day of the tournament and losing one. Green River beat Cheyenne South, lost to Thunder Basin and won against Cheyenne Central. The second day, Green River took a loss to Natrona County and Cheyenne East.

The Lady Wolves will travel to compete in the Evanston Border Wars on Friday and Saturday. The Evanston Border Wars will include schools from Wyoming, Utah and Idaho.

Teams from around Wyoming will include Green River, Rock Springs, Evanston, Mountain View, Lyman, Kemmerer, Star Valley, Cokeville, Jackson, Pinedale, Cheyenne East and Cheyenne South.

On Friday, Green River will battle against Bonneville (2), Idaho, at 3 p.m., Juan Diego, Utah, at 5 p.m., Syracuse, Utah, at 7 p.m. and Bonneville (1), Idaho, at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, Green River plays Soda Springs, Idaho, at 9 a.m., Grace, Idaho at 11 a.m., Rigby, Idaho at 2 p.m. and Manila, Utah, at 4 p.m.
