Summer Food Service Program offers free meals

Sweetwater County School District No. 2 has announced the beginning of the Summer Food Service Program for children. The program started May 31 and will go throughout the summer, offering meals at no charge to children 18 years of age and younger.

Meals will be served at Monroe Elementary, Truman Elementary and Washington Elementary, with breakfast served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at each location. Meals at Monroe will be served until Aug. 4, while meals at both Truman and Washington will be served until July 28.
