Lady Wolves strike out against Cheyenne East and Kelly Walsh

The Lady Wolves Softball team traveled to Gillette to compete in the 4A State Championships last Thursday. Their first game on Thursday was against the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds. Green River fought the entire game but struggled putting the bat to the ball. Cheyenne East dominated the game and won with a final score of 11-0.

"We had about three costly errors in the outfield that really was the difference in the game," said Head Coach Blair Aimone. "The game was definitely closer than the score portrayed and if we could have changed three things it would have been a whole different ballgame."
