Boys and girls soccer take down Pinedale

AB Vergara started playing soccer when he was in fourth grade and it's his favorite sport. He is a senior and one of the team captains this year. Through his high school career, he has seen the team grow so much and improve every year. He feels their winning streak comes from the great "chemistry" the team has. "Everybody loves each other and we are like family," explained AB.
The Green River High School Boys and Girls Soccer teams traveled to Pinedale to take on the Wranglers last Friday.
The Lady Wolves had a victorious win over the Lady Wranglers with a final score of 6-1. Leading the team were Isabel Vasco with six goals and Marely Magana with one goal, along with Jayla Braden with three assists, Claira Kuball with two assists and Fatima Salcedo with six saves.
"We played a good 65 minutes of the game," explained Head Coach Matt Robles. "We found possession in the attacking half and really forced Pinedale to defend most of the game."
