Boys basketball put up a fight against Evanston and Jackson

The Green River Boys basketball team played in two conference games last Thursday and Saturday.

On Thursday, January 19, the boys played Evanston. The top scorers were Theran Archibald with 13 points and Kason Ivie with eight points. Theran Archibald lead the team with eight rebounds, and Caleb Lake had four assists.

The Wolves played great defense, holding their opponents to 46 points and out-rebounding them. They worked great together but they "could not buy a bucket," according to Head Coach Laurie Ivie. They shot 34% from the field, while Evanston shot 60%. This meant they couldn't take...
