During the practice round Junior Tyler Castillon got a hole in one on hole #3, which is a 149 yard par 3. "It was definitely a highlight of our 2022 Conference experience," Coach Salas said.
The Green River High School Golf team powered through bad weather and still came away with several successes, including players taking All Conference honors, at the 3A West Conference Tournament in Lander last week.
"Day one was very successful on both the boys' and girls' side," Assistant Coach Danielle Salas said about the tournament.
After the first day, Senior Ryker Mele was sitting at fourth, Sophomore Ashton Lucero was right outside the top 10 sitting at 13th, and the boys' team was sitting in fourth place overall as they headed into day two.
