Primary election debates upcoming

Debates among candidates in the upcoming primary election will be held locally and across the state.

Primary election debates hosted and sponsored by SweetwaterGOP will take place the evenings of Aug. 8, 9 and 10 at the Broadway Theater in Rock Springs. The public is welcome to attend the debates in person, or can watch the livestream on SweetwaterGOP’s Facebook and YouTube. The debates will be moderated by Johnny K.

Monday, Aug. 8 Debates:

Sweetwater Clerk of District Court debate between DonnaLee Bobak and Annette Eychner

Sweetwater County Attorney address by Dan Eramouspe

Sweetwater County Treasurer debate between Stephen P. Allen, Mark Cowan and Tony Yerkovich

Sweetwater County Sheriff debate between John Grossnickle and Dwane Pacheco

Tuesday, Aug. 9 Debates:

Sweetwater County Clerk debate between Anita Frey and Cindy Lane

Sweetwater County Assessor debate between Dave Divis and Perri Rubeck

Sweetwater County Commissioner debate between Chris Davis, Roy Lloyd, Les Mauch, Jeff Ramaj, Island Richards, Robb Slaughter, Jeff Smith and Keaton West

Wednesday, Aug. 10 Debates:

Sweetwater House District forum with JT Larson, Scott Heiner, Cody Wylie, and Clark Stith

Sweetwater House District 47 debate between Bob Davis and Clyde Johnson

Sweetwater House District 60 debate between Jennifer James and Tony Niemiec

Sweetwater County Senate District 11 address from Larry Hicks

Sweetwater County Senate District 13 debate between Tom James and Stacy Jones

Statewide Debates:

WyomingPBS is hosting a series of debates during the 2022 Primary Election season.

Thursday, August 4 beginning at 7 p.m., Democratic candidates vying for the United States House of Representatives seat will debate at Central Wyoming College at the Little Theater in Riverton. Immediately following at 8 p.m. will be a debate among Democratic candidates running for the Wyoming Governor’s seat. The public is invited to attend all three debates.

All debates will be live streamed at and broadcast live on WyomingPBS and Wyoming Public Radio.
