Gloria J. Gonzales, 67, passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming for the past 42 years and former resident of Rawlins, Wyoming.
She was born December 3, 1954 in Rawlins, Wyoming; the daughter of Eufracio Martinez and Antonia Martinez.
Mrs. Gonzales attended schools in Rawlins, Wyoming.
She married Raymond Patrick Gonzales on December 5, 1970 in Rawlins, Wyoming.
Mrs. Gonzales worked for Sweetwater County School District #1 for 17 years having retired in 2017 as a Head Start Bus Driver.
She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
Mrs. Gonzales loved spending time with her family especially caring for her grandchildren; camping cooking and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond P. Gonzales of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one son, Patrick M. Gonzales of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two brothers, Tommy Martinez and wife Deborah of Rawlins, Wyoming; Johnny Martinez and wife Gina of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister, Rosie Abeyta and husband Fred of Medford, Oregon; five grandchildren, Gloria Montez and husband Marco, Isabella Fredricks, Alycia Fredricks, Matthew and Anthony Olsen. One great-grandchild Aaliyah Montez. Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, June Martinez and Lillian Arguello; brother, Leroy Martinez and two daughters
Jennifer Gonzales and Lisa Gifford.
Cremation has taken place; a Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Avenue, Rock Springs, Wyoming.
